Blue hour storm....
I usually love photography during blue hour- that special time and light after the sun has sunk low, it is usually a very calming experience....
The tide was very low this evening , there was an incoming tide combined with an incoming storm.
The waves were crashing, whipped up by the storm and lashing out at the coastline. Every few minutes a rogue wave would come in with an absolutely thunderous crash, spilling the fury of the storm at my feet. It was an invigorating and unsettling shoot.
My Dad is railing against the changes. Fearful angry and frustrated at not being able to control decisions for himself any longer. Lashing out like the storm.
"Like all of us in this storm between birth and death, I can wreak no great changes on the world, only small changes for the better, I hope, in the lives of those I love."
