Cirl Buntings

I'm not really a birder and I'll be honest and say that when I snapped this pair of cirl buntings, one of the rarest birds in Britain, I didn't really know what they were. Well, snapped is not quite right as there was a fair amount of stalking involved, so I'll say "took this beautifully composed portrait of a pair of cirl buntings". Think anyone will believe me?

Update: My tame ornithologist thinks the lower bird is a juvenile robin rather than a female curl bunting.
