Ramblings and Mutterings

Beautiful, beautiful Wales

I visited our site in North Wales today, and it’s a bit of a record breaker because it’s the place with the longest name in Britain. Yes it’s Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwlllantysiliogogogoch or to give its English translation “St. Mary’s Church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St.Tysilio of the red cave.”

I was going to blip the famous sign that is on the railway station in LlanfairPG, but the drive up through mid and north Wales first thing had such fabulous scenery I couldn’t resist to blip one of the sights that I’d seen. This is Llwyn Clywedog, not far from Llanidloes, but it could be in the Lake District don’t you think? I love my country, we have everything. Beautiful, beautiful Wales! :)
