Lovely big eyes

It was a rainy morning, so I tackled a few jobs I'd been putting off for a rainy day (who could argue now?)

This afternoon (later than planned, due to the rain), we cycled to visit a friend and her daughter who are staying at a camping site just out of town.

We took the wrong road; ended up taking 'a short cut' (=cycling and sliding along an extremely muddy, and sandy path), and arrived later rather than sooner.
It was great fun, and I'm certainly going to go back to visit her again one night this week, armed with a bottle of plonk and a packet of crisps :)

This lovely looking deer is just one of the many animals resident at the site.
