Of cornfields and Constable
My dad loved Constable's painting. I have just been looking at his enormous catalogue of the exhibition put on by the Tate in the early '90s and it reminds me just what a brilliant painter Constable was and how expressive his skies were. Somehow - in this blip - that's got muddled with memories of a painting my grandmother used to have of a rather smug-looking Victorian lady walking through a cornfield, So here's a mongrel version of both, perhaps luckily without Victorian lady!
Just so you know, I'm still very much looking through your journals, though with stars rather than comments. Sorry to still be in unsociable mode, it's not meant and hopefully I can change back soon,
Enjoy your evening. Hasta manana..
