White Plume Moth
Pterophorus Pentadactyla - White Plume Moth.
So called because its wings look like feathers.
This Moth looked almost magical when it flew as it had a kind of blue glow when its wings were open.
My camera was playing up and wouldn't focus properly (its doing that a lot lately) maybe it needs repairing, hope not. So it took quite a while to get this and I was in a slight panic that it was going to fly away from sight.
Luckily I managed to focus and captured its image.
