Eastern promise . .

Having not been anywhere interesting enough to take a snap today I had a hunt round the house.
This Geisha girl riding in her rickshaw is the centre piece of my jewellery box.
It belonged to my Gran and has been with me for nearly 30 years.
When I was small and had been good on a Sunday I was allowed to wind it up and let it play.
The music is sweet and the wheel on the rickshaw goes round.
It came from Japan in the. 50's as far as I know.
It reminds me of Gran and happy childhood days .
