View from the Durango Dog Park

This is the largest and most beautiful dog park I have ever seen. It is large enough for a hike. And there is even an area where the dogs can play in the river. I love this town.

The highlight of the day, though, was seeing Bob at camp tonight. He was dirty but very happy. He seemed a bit more mature, and definitely more helpful. So many people told us how much they love Bob - countless staffers and campers. Even some fellow parents asked if we were the parents of the famous Bob. Many thanked us for letting him stay the extra 2 weeks. My brother and his family came along for tonight's dinner and award ceremony and skits. And even they were congratulated for being part of Bob's family. Bob's cabin's skit was definitely the best of the 4. Each child was presented with a beautiful hand drawn/painted plaque celebrating their achievements at camp. The hardest part was leaving Bob behind for 1 more night. There is a camp dance and parents are obviously not allowed!

On a less positive note, Cleo is not fitting in very well with my brother's pets. I have offered to let her stay at the local Pet Resort, but my hosts are confident that Cleo will settle soon. I am not so sure...
