Regatta, baby style

Where we used to live has a world famous regatta held there annually. It is like the ascot for the rowing world and ladies and gentlemen line the river banks in force.
We headed down there today with lots of our friend for a picnic and champaign by banks. We didn't sit right next to the river as with 8 toddlers running around it is bound to end in misery but instead chose a nice shaded area where we could all relax.
It was a fabulous idea and the is no better way to enjoy the regatta when you have children in tow. Definitely something to do more often.
