Epilobium hirsutum

In the rather oppressive heat of the morning it was a pleasure to walk under the shady canopy of the forest . I came across a large clump of these wild flowers which I believe are called Great Willowherb. If I am wrong please let me know, I'm still in the early stages of learning plant identification.
