'Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly'

Another glorious day.... so off we went with our daughter Kelly to National Trust..Mottisfont. Pete and I went there twice during our week in Hampshire at the beginning of June. The last time we took Kelly with us was on her 21st Birthday when she was at University in Winchester. We surprised her..they had all been partying the night before! Now here we are, twenty one years later..and she is married with four sons. Mottisfont is famous for its Roses, and Kelly's birthday is in June....when they are at their best. Today most of them had gone over, but the Lavenders and Penstemons were looking lovely.

It was nice to be able to have a day together....the four 'Gems' were at school.
We drove back to East Susses this afternoon.....the traffic was awful and I was too late to go to my Line dance class...but I am a bit weary, so just as well. Great weekend!
