Are these yours sir?
I was just on my way out to walk the hound, when I spotted the light cast on my jacket, flung over the chair by the gardenroom door. What caught my eye was the contrast between the white, tufftiness of the sheepskin and the worn brown patina of the waxy barbour jacket.
And it reminded me of a story I'd heard about the funny things that are found in the pockets of barbours when they are sent back to the factory for repairs and re-waxing.
Apparently, they find the most extraordinary things in the pockets: from gun cartridges, pocket knives and dog leads; to handkerchiefs, durex and even ladies knickers! They also have a museum of all the things they've found.
