Radiata Pines

Thankfully this scene is NOT a repeat of this scene just over 3 years ago, when all hell broke loose in Blackheath. Rather it is the result of the clearing of the block next door to us of 4 giant Radiata Pines, ready for the block to be built upon. In some ways we're not disappointed to see the pines gone, but then again we're not happy that we're going to look out our side windows onto a house and water tanks instead of garden & bushland views. Try telling that to the local Council though - they're not remotely interested.
