Storm cloud sunset over Cannes

More good sleeps! Today, we lazed by the pool reading books for a few hours. I don't read enough at home but I'm on book three and making the most of it.

We both have a similar tolerance level before boredom sets in (despite being here for R&R) so we'd planned a short coastal walk before dinner. We ended up at la Port de la Rague where we dived the other day.

We found a sea front restaurant which attracted a fantastic array of human types... Fascinating people watching ensued which was nearly worth the 11 euro gin & tonic!

We debated a number of things linked to living the high life including how you might get drawn into plastic surgery and how hard it would be to leave it once you'd started. (I've a long way to go... still being proud of my increasing number of grey hairs!)

The evening light as we wandered back was spectacular as a storm moved out and the setting sun moved in.

Now back to the balcony for a cup of tea, a glass of wine, some Jaffa cakes and another light show... We know how to live the high life!
