Burnished Brass

It was a warm night with just a couple of light rain showers and I had lots in the moth trap this morning. So far I have ten new species for the garden and still have some micro-moths to work on. It was difficult to decide which of the new ones to feature, but in the end it had to be this one - Burnished Brass. I remember finding one of these on the wall of our house, near an outside light, when I was a child - I was so excited and astounded at the matallic colours...just as I was this morning.
