Playing with fire

The fireworks display I watched with M and her grandson S on Saturday night - two whole days before the official Fete Nationale. I wondered how S would take it, but he said it was a battle in the sky, and he wanted red to win.

It was a very good show, and now we can get down to more mundane play such as as shooing nasty witches out of the front door, becoming bears to chase away the wolves which tend to infest the area under the coffee table, acting like monkeys, and wondering how to make trains fly. I'm trying to keep up with his imagination.
