Disturbing the peace
This lot of hoodlums and the other 30 or so beasts in the same field are a bit badly behaved to say the least. They keep loupin the fence or crashing through the gate and rampaging up and down the road.
Thankfully we just call the farmer to come round them up and whilst we wait, tie a bit of rope over our gate (which, come to think of it... we don't have a gate, just a gap, so it's more of a driveway but that sounds a bit grand) and that tends to deter several tons of freedom fuelled bovines from coming into the garden and jumping all over the plants.
Today they have decided not to go walkabout but instead have chosen to stand outside our window and shout very loudly at the dairy herd across the way. The dairy herd, a distinguished group of ladies, continue to go about their business of cropping grass and chewing the cud whilst ignoring the noisy louts next door.
I shall attempt to follow their example, the ignoring not the grass eating, and pretend the hooligans are not there... maybe they'll go away.
