Last Tuesday

End of an era.
Ever since I went to work when he was 20 months old, term-time Tuesdays have been our day, just the two of us, to do what we want. School holidays next week and then Big School after that means we won't be able to do it any more, so this morning we had a trip to the garden centre for coffee (me), orange juice (him) and a very large slice of chocolate fudge cake.
Home for a rest and a bit of television before playing some games (the silly Lego chicken game, the shopping game and Humpalump) before his friend came and called for him to go to the park.*
I shall miss our Tuesdays.

I'm improving slowly. Managed to do all that and make dinner as well. Will be in bed before Son One though!



*friend is also 4, and brought his nanny with him, they didn't go to the park by themselves....
