Day Two: Rest and Be Thankful

After two days travelling to reach our first gite in Obernai we decided to tke it easy for the first day and wander around Obernai which turned out to be even more charming and quaint than we thought. The gite also turned out to be even better than we expected with tons of character and only five minutes stroll into town...character tends to come in big measures for a house that was built in 1523!
