Barafundle Bay
Barafundle Bay is a hidden gem in the Pembrokeshire coastline. Only accessible on foot - (a 15 min walk along the cliff tops from the National Trust car park at Stackpole Quay) - it is a sweep of golden sand, backed by high cliffs and sand dunes, which means it is both remotely beautiful and sheltered.
With a forecast of sunshine all day, we set off with picnic, beach tent, buckets and spades.
A wonderful day which left us with that special feeling of being full up on sunshine and sea air.
