Tickling the Ivories

Spent the weekend at Knebworth at a party to celebrate the opening of a new bridge a friend built. He lives in the Lake Lodge literally on the edge of the lake within a wonderful setting of the grounds of the house.

The piano was set up on a little island looking out over the lake. for anyone to play. Unfortunately I can't tickle the ivories. Never learned to play a musical instrument but nothing stopping me now I suppose.

Last night was an evening of live music, fireworks, food and drink and great company.

David, the owner was there looking cool in his Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt and he can say he was there when they played Knebworth in 1975.

And yes, I blipped a bug!! And now I'm blipping my wellies and a piano when in this fantastic setting. The better photos are on my Nikon and I'm still struggling to get them downloaded so it's an iPhone blip as usual.
