Beautiful Evening ...

... a beautiful end to a beautiful day!

I dashed out for some groceries this morning, calling for a quick coffee with the Tuesday gang.

When I arrived home the phone rang and it was the Openreach engineer (it was explained to me that they are not the same company as BT!).

He arrived a few minutes later and spent four hours identifying the problems with our internet, made adjustments to the box at the top of our road and at the exchange in the village. He then made changes to our house wiring and boxes resulting in a speed of just under 7 Mb/s compared to 0.02 Mb/s this morning!! We are hoping that this will be our speed from now on :-)

I also had a visitor this afternoon, Lucy arrived with Thomas and we had a nice chat and sit down in the sunshine.
