Thistles

Tonight I (Chris) have been out with my camera club on one of our evening summer season events. We met up on the currently disused Wendover Arm of the Grand Union canal. This stretch is undergoing a very gradual restoration but remains a haven for wildlife and a favorite route for walkers. The sun gave us selective lighting as it dipped towards sunset with some good opportunities for backlighting. This was my favourite shot.
