I waited for about 15 minutes until I got the lighting I wanted on the church this morning. Now that may not seem a long time, but when you are in the middle of nowhere and there doesn't seem to be much else to photograph or do, time seems to drag. I did like the shot when the sun eventually shone on the scene. Even better than that, I was using my old Nikon 70-210 lens and it did a good job. Maybe it heard rumours that it might be pensioned off. No chance.
