Tomatoes

A busy day, but very satisfying. A morning spent working on the prison contract, finding resources for the learning platform and working with companies to see how we can use their material on our site.

The afternoon started with a swim and finished with a governors meeting at the school where I'm on the governing body. The results have been good this year but still a long way to go.

After tea a walk to the allotment and around the golf course. Dug up potatoes to take to the Lake District on Thursday and do a bit of watering. Stuff growing well at the moment. Lots of green beans to take too.

Finally back home to turn some of our surplus raspberries into jam to add to the blackcurrant jam and redcurrant jelly made this week.

Tomatoes appear to be doing well in the greenhouse as are the winter brassica in the small pots on the floor. Froggy seems to be keeping down the slugs.
