Last minute blip

When I planned my trip to London, today was to be the photography day. I don't know why I bother with plans!

I spent the morning lounging around my sister's house waiting for her to wake up, and the afternoon helping her shop for dresses. By the time I was on my own it was dark and to top it off I realised my camera battery was dead and the spare was back in the hotel.

Anyway, after a lovely curry with a friend he took me to this cool bar on Brick Lane. It's full of vintage furniture, retro knick-knacks and amazing artwork, including, of course, the striking "Afghan girl" portrait. I thought it would make a nice last-minute blip :)
