I liked the patterns that the shadows of the street trees on the ground.

More than that, however: shadow is such a classic metaphor for memory and underneath this car-park, and the adjacent streets and buildings it was once all trees. Somehow these transient images are markers for a past - and hopefully a future - filled with trees.
