Art Deco Hawai'i

Went by the Museum today and the new posters outside are simply stunning!
The colours are so vibrant and the upraised arms of a line of women dancing hula can't help but remind you of synchronized swimming. Dancing the hula means all members should be in sync - it's not that easy, esp. with a larger group. A series of menu covers for Matson Navigation Company typify this exuberant style.
Exhibit is open til early January next year. That gives me time to blip the left side poster, too . .
