Not enough limbs

Busy at work today and someone brought in this hedgehog. He was a good weight and didn't have fleas or ticks, possible indicators that they're not well. He didn't stay curled up very long though when we tried to examine him so we knew something was wrong . His front leg was completely missing with a large wound and his back leg on the same side had the foot missing, most likely a strimmer accident. There is a lovely local lady who rehabilatates injured hedgehogs and with just one limb missing they have a good chance, but not 2 on the same side. With a heavy heart I had to put him to sleep.
