NEPEAN RIVER GORGE.....

... sadly the "little amount of rain" we have had over the last two days ended this morning! As mentioned, yesterday was very "dull & grey" and this morning started the same, but then started to lift about mid morning.

Being hemmed inside with the renos plus the weather, decided to head down to the mighty Nepean get some fresh air, and see if we could get a shot of the fog lifting out of the river gorge. As an added bonus the Nepean Belle paddle wheeler came downstream for it's lunch cruise to add a bit of reality.

This is looking South from the M4 freeway bridge, and you can see the fog and mist lifting from the gorge and mountains. Needing a bit more of a walk I then wandered down to the weir and found this pelican looking for lunch. There were another three sitting on the weir.

Having now finished the renos on the dressing table, I now know why furniture restorers charge so much..... need to get into doing the bedside dressers now.

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE.

... thanks also for your great feedback on my "rushed" Blip yesterday, it was fun must admit, and hope to catch up a bit on comments tonight!
