Loom Bands

Dull wet morning, a wee bit brighter in the afternoon.

I have had the pleasure of my granddaughter's company today while her sister was out with my wife. Katie has mastered the art of Loom Bands - tying dozens of rubber bands into bracelets and other very intricate shapes using a loom. She is making a triple single bracelet and on her wrist you can see a starburst bracelet. Earlier on she made an owl, which was very cute.

It certainly seems to be a craze which has swept the UK and America - with YouTube videos teaching the youngsters how to make the different patterns.
