Our NE facing view

We are now living on the side of a hill with a grand 180 degree view. This is the eastern side looking towards the You Yangs. Unsurprisingly, this is an aboriginal phrase that means large hill on a flat plain! And it completely sums them up. So it joins the collection of blindingly obvious Australian place names, such as Great Sandy Desert, Snowy Mountains, Brown Hill and Dry Creek. I took my scout promise on top of them a few months ago in the moonlight. It was a special experience.
