Lavender…blue

Last week as we were driving around we saw many fields with lavender growing.
Beautiful swathes of colour which I have never seen before in Provence (we usually come in August).
So off we drove today, camera at the ready….. but it appears many of them have been harvested since last week. We did see a few but they were in the middle of farms and inaccessible. So this is my Lavender Blip, slightly less impressive than I had hoped.

But PAR1 had much better luck today!
