East Meon

My neighbour took me for a walk up Park Hill, from where we had a great view of her childhood village of East Meon. This beautiful country village, which is set in the South Downs National Park, is rich in history with Bronze Age burial barrows and evidence of Roman occupation.
We were lucky enough to see many Sparrow Hawks, Kestrels and a Red Kite, too!
She went to put flowers on her Mother, Father and brother's grave while I had a look inside the church which has an unusual and unique black marble font.
