Eros

Had a quiet day at home with my grandparents, then we all went to London in the evening to see 'The 39 Steps' at the Criterion Theatre. On the way into the theatre I took this quick snap of the statue of Eros at the top of the fountain in Piccadilly circus. The square was really bustling with people and I loved the peacefulness of this image of Eros silhouetted against the dramatic sky, poised above the commotion of the streets below. He looks as if he's about to launch off the fountain and fly away.
