Highest. Tide. Ever.

This is a super moon tide - usually the pontoon is angled fairly steeply down to the surface of the river. Today it's almost flat.

The river is slow, swollen and pregnant with eddies and flotsam. It presses against it's banks and, walking alongside, it feels oppressive and threatening.
