Mysteries

Whilst I was having coffee with a friend this morning at the overpriced coffee shop on Middle Meadow Walk, some men in hi viz vests arrived in vans with lots of mobile fence units. They then proceeded to set them up in fours - i.e. fencing in an empty square piece of grass - at random intervals at the side of the Walk. Why they did this is a mystery to me. I can only surmise that it is something to do with the soon to be unleashed madness that is Edinburgh Festivals season.
