Hairy yellow courgette

This year I thought I'd try growing yellow courgettes (zucchini if you're transatlantic!) instead of green ones. For some reason they seem to be requiring to be pollinated by hand - previously insects have pollinated my green ones.

Anyway at last we have one reaching the size for harvesting (yum yum). I like its bright yellow colour so thought I'd blip it. I never realised they were so hairy until I zoomed in - and then I also spotted a slight ant infestation!
