My Perfect Imperfection
Although it was my day off, I was once again back in work this morning taking some photographs of the KS1 production of "Strictly Cinderella" for one of the teachers. Little Miss E came too, and thankfully sat really nicely and quietly at the back, while I intermittently snapped away. The children did really well learning all their lines and looked great in their costumes especially the boys who were the ugly sisters! I didn't recognise them.
After Little Missy had her afternoon nap we had then to go up to Munchkin 1's school, to watch the final parents performance of the choir, which is always lovely. They did a medley of the songs they have being doing all year, and still when the sing "Sing", it brings a tear to my eye. It still sounds just as wonderful as when I first heard it in church a few years ago. Sadly, he doesn't want to continue choir, so this was his last performance too. Still...he always changes his mind.
So here he is, todays Blip, my perfect imperfection, with his hidden flaws, and sparkling eyes, that I love dearly...even though he occasionally thinks Im the worst mum in the world.
