Shannon Falls

Travelled up to Whistler today. Took the ferry from Nainish to Horseshoe Bay and then a 90 minute drive along highway 99 on the sea to sky highway. Stopped in the way to ogle a huge waterfall at Shannon Falls - six times the height of Niagra and then stopped at Squamish which apart from the massive granite rock face above the town was quite disappointing. Staying at the splendid Westin resort in the heart of Whistler. The town seems full of mountain bikers as we believe the mountain biking around here is spectacular.
