The Pyramid of Blickling

Another hot and sunny day. We headed to the village where we holidayed last year. We had a plan to go for a walk which consisted of a track through a corn field. Unfortunately the corn field is a beet field this year, with no sign of the path. Our plan was hastily changed and we walked around the village and BB had his first ice cream of the day.

We then moved on to Blickling Hall – a magnificent Jacobean House, garden, estate and probably much more. We walked, played and I read my book in the sun. BB had his second ice cream. Today the mausoleum was open so we went to check it out. It’s not every day you get to look inside a pyramid!

BB turned down the option of a third ice cream after tea!
