Jason's Birthday

It's not, because that's earlier in the year, but this reminded me of Jason. It reminded me of a day when we were all younger and more foolish, and he came home all excited as he'd bought a pair (well, went halves with Mark) of enormous speakers at a knock down price off the back of a lorry.....

Never mind that the speakers were so enormous they barely fit in his room, or that he didn't have a sound system capable of playing them. At the very least, it gave the rest of us plenty to chuckle about.

Seeing signs like this on objects outside peoples houses is quite a common thing here. I thought it was Bristol-wide but I've had it suggested it's peculiar to South of the River (figures). Shelf units, chairs, cupboards, children's toys, you name it you can find it free for the taker. Of course, leave something outside your house WITHOUT wishing it to go to a good home and, well, don't say you weren't warned!!!
