Winter

We arrived back home this afternoon, after spending last night in Nelson so we could go to a few appointments this morning.

It was a gorgeous day at home, albeit a bit cold. After we had a quick lunch, I headed out on the farm to look for a photo. It was fantastic to breathe in the clear fresh air, and feel the warmth of the sun.

Down at the wool shed I found these chestnuts resting on the moss of an old tree stump, and amongst the fallen leaves. A typical winter scene.

It's freezing tonight. We're in for a frost - more photographic opportunities for tomorrow's blip.
