Emperor Dragonfly In Flight
Dragonflies abundant at Nanpantan Reservoir.
On a sad note, the grebe has lost her new batch of eggs. The raft has been built up and is sturdy, but all the eggs have gone. A flock of black headed gulls were sitting on the bank. They could have been harassing the grebe, pushed her off the nest, and then attacked the eggs themselves. Vermin!
