Big Wheel keep on turnin'

It was all happening in Bantry today. It's the Pirate Festival this weekend argh Jimlad and the Fair is in town too. This colossal big wheel has just gone up, and next to it is a pink ghost train. This fair drives Himself mad for it means there is nowhere to park on market day when he does the shopping. He has a point. Also it was the Debs! ! Swathes of young women in backless floaty arrangments with bouffant hair and corsages were parading around the square around accompanied by tall skinny young men smoking in suits. They were all fuelling up in the pub before being bused off somewhere, watched on by adoring mammies.

I gather there are heatwaves going on elsewhere? We are sitting under a pall of damp warm cloud, sweating like ripe cheese. Now that's a nice image!
