summer time in Calgary

today was a hot day; mainly spent indoors in my office preparing my syllabus for the next term and my upcoming conference paper at IPSA in Montréal; but this reminds me to tell you all that Canada is not always cold! and compared to the UK (although I hear this year there is a proper summer) it really feels like summer; since I arrived it has been like this, although the high water in the Bow river reminds me that June is normally quite a wet month here; so if you make holiday plans to visit us and you are not into winter sports, July is your month!
