Heron

This one was in St Mark's Park.

I only realised he was there because a seagull kept circling and swooping whilst screaming at the top of its lungs.

The heron watched him line up for a dive, waited till the last moment and then ducked, just enough and no more. The gull seemed very frustrated that he couldn't get the heron to react.

Typically, as soon as I had the camera out the gull got bored and flew off.
