Granny B's collar

I have spent the day sorting out some of my late Mother's things. I remember this collar, it is silk, embroidered with sequins, I used to wear it for dressing up. I think it dates from the 1920s or 30s when a collar like this might have been applied to a cocktail or evening dress, removeable so that it could be used several times on different dresses over the years. I found it at the bottom of a chest where my mother kept her fabric scraps it was in a polythene bag labeled Granny B's collar. I had two granny Bs....
