The docking of the 'Regal Lady'.

I find this shot quite bizarre. The lighting was bright and contrasty and the exodus extraordinary. This is quite a busy scene. The 'Regal Lady' is a pleasure cruise vessel which operates out of Scarborough harbour, North Yorkshire. The vessel is now rather aged and tired and late of Dunkirk in World War Two. There is something quite surreal about this scene, it is like a W P Frith painting with such a lot going on. Note the central figure of the lady in the green dress. Don't anyone say this is a busy image. It was created that way.
