Closeup (Part 2)

So my new piece of kit arrived. Woohoo! And this is the result. It's a ring flash diffuser and for those who don't know what it does, it reduces/eliminates shadows created by the flash but also creates this awesome halo in the eyes.

I actually took a few nicer ones after this with the standard lens but I wanted to keep true to the comparison with yesterday's blip so I kept to this one.

I'm quite geekily excited to experiment more with this. If anyone is actually interested, it's called a Roundflash and there is more information about it here.
